The German's top level domain is indicated by the abbreviation DE. The Manager of German domain is DENIC eG.. Registering the domain can be made by each individual or company, regardless of nationality. It is necessary to deliver existing German address - see the information below.
Rules for DE domain creation
- domain may only contain characters [az, 0-9, -]
- maximum length of the Domain is 63 characters
- minimum length of the domain name is just 3 characters
- domain does not begin or end with the symbol "-"
- domain can not contain two characters "-" in a row
- domain is available for 1 year
- domain can be extended for 1 year
- each applicant can register domain without restriction, including foreign individuals and companies
Each domain name must be unique. It is not possible to register a domain name identical to already registered domain name.
