Czech domain of the highest level is labelled with CZ abbreviation. Administrator of Czech domain is organization CZ.NIC z.s.p.o., which administer domains .cz through accredited registrars.
ZONER software, Ltd. is accredited registrar of CZ domains.
Only registrar's change without DNS adjustment.
Rules for CZ domain creation.
- domain can include only signs [a-z, 0-9, -]
- length of domain is max. 63 signs
- domain can include also 1 sign only
- domain must not begin or end with sign "-"
- domain must not include two signs "-" after each other
- domain can be registered for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 years
- domain can be elongated for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 years
- domain can be registered by every applicant without limitation, that are also foreign people and companies
Every domain name must be unique. It is not possible to register domain name identical with already registrered domain name.

Registrar change of CZ domain
- change of domain .cz is free
- registrar change is possible only on-line by entering authorization password of Central register CZ.NIC
- CZ.NIC send authorization password only to domain owner or his/her administrative contacts
- if the domain expirated, the request for registrar's change is realized by paying prolongation fee
